Corporate Controller Finance and Administration | San Jose The Corporate Controller will serve as a key financial leader responsible for overseeing the company’s worldwide accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements, while supporting the company’s growth as a semiconductor business with complex revenue arrangements, cost structures, and equity compensation programs. JOB DESCRIPTION: Financial Reporting & SEC Compliance • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. • Own all SEC reporting activities, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and related disclosures. • Ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements, maintaining effective internal controls over financial reporting. • Serve as the primary accounting liaison with external auditors and advisors. Accounting Operations & Team Leadership • Lead and develop the accounting organization, including general ledger, revenue, AR, AP, payroll, and technical accounting. • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency across accounting operations. Revenue Recognition • Oversee revenue accounting and ensure compliance with ASC 606, including complex customer contracts, variable consideration, rebates, and rights of return. • Partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Operations to review and approve customer contracts for accounting implications. • Maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, and documentation. Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) & Inventory Accounting • Oversee accounting for COGS, including wafer fabrication, assembly and test, foundry costs, logistics, and manufacturing variances. • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility and margin analysis. Accounts Receivable & Credit • Oversee accounts receivable, billing, cash application, credit policies, and collections. • Monitor customer credit risk, reserves for doubtful accounts, and days sales outstanding (DSO). Stock-Based Compensation & Equity Accounting • Oversee accounting and reporting for stock-based compensation under ASC 718. • Partner with Legal and HR on equity plan administration, option grants, ESPPs, and modifications. • Ensure accurate valuation, expense recognition, disclosures, and reconciliation of equity accounts. Technical Accounting & Policy Development • Research and implement accounting guidance for new or complex transactions (e.g., revenue arrangements, business combinations, debt, leases, equity transactions). • Maintain the company’s accounting policies and procedures documentation. Cross-Functional & Strategic Support • Partner with FP&A on forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. • Provide financial insight and guidance to executive leadership. WORK REQUIREMENTS Required • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • CPA required. • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. • Experience in a public company. • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance. • Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and inventory/COGS accounting. Preferred • Prior experience in the semiconductor, hardware, or manufacturing industry. • Big Four public accounting background. • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite). System Management • Lead worldwide Oracle instance and other related business information systems Team Leadership • Manage and mentor team of revenue and cost accounting professionals based out of US and Singapore. • Establish clear goals, training, and development plans to support a high-performing team. Job Description: Senior Test Engineer, Penang, Malaysia As a Senior Test Engineer at our office in Malaysia, you will take ownership of all technical aspects of PCBA testing at our EMS. You will be responsible for the development and sustaining of the test programs, test hardware, and overcoming barriers to Overall Equipment Effectiveness. We look to all of our test engineering personnel to innovate and drive operational and quality excellence. This position interfaces with test engineering staff in Switzerland as well as with Operations personnel and the EMS test staff. He/She will report to the Test Engineering Manager based in Penang, Malaysia. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the development and sustaining of the test programs, test hardware, and overcoming barriers to Overall Equipment Effectiveness. • Implement and optimize In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and In-System Programming (ISP) test programs for our PCBAs on Teradyne Test Station test system • Design test fixtures for Teradyne Test Station test system • Solve production issues and troubleshoot the test software and hardware • Interact with our EMS for test engineering and sustenance-related matters • Document the test programs and processes (test specifications, release procedures, working instructions) • Drive continuous improvement of the test programs and processes in production • Analyze the test data and create comprehensive reports Requirements: • BSEE/MSEE degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar education • Minimum 8 years’ experience in test development and sustaining support for PCBA • Good experience in developing In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and In-System Programming (ISP) on Teradyne TestStation test system (or Agilent 3070 test system) and NI TestStand/LabVIEW test system • Good knowledge in power electronics, analog and mixed signal electronics • Good experience and knowhow in C/C++ programming, computer hardware/software and servers • Experience in testing automotive certified PCBAs and knowledgeable in the automotive requirements (VDA, IATF) would be an advantage • Experience in Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) is desirable • Language: Fluent in English, other languages would be an advantage Desired Characteristics: • Conscientious, analytical and accurate work practices and organization • Communication skills for working in cross-functional and international teams • Willingness to learn and progress • Ability to work independently or in a team • Hands-on mentality and problem-solving mindset • Travel as needed to several Asian factory locations (up to 15% of the time) Please share your updated Resumes to  wazeerkhanusllc@gmail.com for review.   Thanks & Regards Wazeer Khan LLC Cell. 586-981-9557 [elementor-template id="317"]
