Analyze reliability test results using TIBCO Spotfire and other statistical software, promptly identifying and escalating any quality issues. Collaborate with the FA team to pinpoint root causes, ensuring timely corrective actions at Burn In house and OSATs. Manage all documentation related to Automotive burn in and generate comprehensive reports. Provide support to reliability evaluations and reliability qualification projects. Requirements/Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Reliability Engineering at a company that develops, manufactures, and supplies integrated circuits. Must have a strong background and hands on experience in semiconductor device reliability tests and procedures, including HTOL, THB, HTRB, HALT, TC, and various accelerated lifetime tests.  Preferably, experience with ESD HBM, ESD CDM, and Latch-up Test. Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and goals Develop MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall building design Design Review and Approval: Review, prepare, and assess MEP design proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team for optimal MEP system selection and implementation Approve final design documents and ensure all required permits are obtained before construction Construction Oversight: Supervise and manage MEP staff during construction to ensure that bid constructors adhere to approved plans, specifications, and safety guidelines Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly Resolve any MEP-related conflicts or discrepancies that may arise during construction Engineering Design and Analysis: Provide technical expertise in MEP engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing) to support the team's design efforts Review and approve engineering design proposals, calculations, and drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations Perform complex engineering analysis and simulations to validate design concepts and optimize project outcomes Quality Control and Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures for MEP design to ensure high-quality design Conduct audits to verify that MEP designs meet the required firms standards Budget and Cost Management: Monitor and control MEP project budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options where appropriate Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives for team members Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss MEP-related progress and milestones Client Interaction and Business Development: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Participate in client meetings and presentations, discussing project progress, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for additional services Collaborate with business development teams to identify potential clients, prepare proposals, and secure new engineering projects Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Stay current with relevant engineering codes, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring project compliance with all applicable requirements Liaise with regulatory authorities and obtain necessary permits and approvals for engineering projects Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Encourage and promote innovation within the engineering team, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance project efficiency and outcomes Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across the organization Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) license required Advanced certificates a plus (eg. LEED, CEM, PMP) Proven experience (typically 15+ years) in managing MEP projects in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial or institutional buildings Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams and clients Proficiency in using MEP design software and project management tools Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex engineering projects and teams Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Business acumen and the ability to contribute to business development efforts We are consistently ranked by major industry publications as a top service provider. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute electrical designs in accordance with the Electrical Department’s Procedures and Standards and specific client standards where applicable.
  • Works in conjunction with Managing Principal, Project Managers and Electrical Team Leader plan the work and balance deliverables with budgets.
  • Maintains understanding of project schedule, status and technical issues. Review all designs issued prior to client submission with supervisor and Department Head.
  • Able to lead technical team and deliver design for various clients. Provide support to assigned staff on technical and administrative issues.
  • Maintains strong understanding of all associated Codes and Standards and ensure compliance in all Team activities.
  • Continuously improves the Team’s deliverable quality, communications, attitude and efficiency.
  • Will be responsible for the design of power distribution, lighting, emergency and standby power supply in accordance to all applicable NEC codes and standards.
  • Develop and evaluate best engineering solutions for projects, including commercial, mission critical, healthcare, science, technology, government and specialty markets
  • Works as part of project team in the production of engineering solutions for large scale and complex building projects, corroborates/coordinates with other design team members including architect, mechanical or structural engineers to ensure electrical systems are integrated with the project’s goals
  • Manage budgets and scope of work
  • Perform Construction Administration tasks such as field visits and subsequent issuance of field reports, responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
  • Perform studies associated with conceptual designs which may require site surveys of existing conditions, system sizing and definition of required space for anticipated electrical equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
OPERATIONS & STAFF DEVELOPMENT   Actively manages technical tasks and project efforts within the Electrical Team in close coordination with the Electrical Lead balancing deliverables, client expectations and budget based upon the allocated fee. MARKETING/SALES   Strong written and verbal skills required.
