Staff Automotive Reliability Engineer. Penang Malaysia
Collaborate with the burn in board/Apps design team to drive the readiness of automotive burn in hardware, ensuring seamless operation in external burn in facilities. Coordinate with package houses (OSATs) and external burn in labs to oversee smooth Automotive burn in operations, requiring regular travel for on-site support, debugging, and troubleshooting of burn in hardware and related tests. Conduct hands-on debugging and troubleshooting of burn boards and other relevant Rel hardware at external burn in facilities. Analyze reliability test results using TIBCO Spotfire and other statistical software, promptly identifying and escalating any quality issues. Collaborate with the FA team to pinpoint root causes, ensuring timely corrective actions at Burn In house and OSATs. Manage all documentation related to Automotive burn in and generate comprehensive reports. Provide support to reliability evaluations and reliability qualification projects. Requirements/Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Reliability Engineering at a company that develops, manufactures, and supplies integrated circuits. Must have a strong background and hands on experience in semiconductor device reliability tests and procedures, including HTOL, THB, HTRB, HALT, TC, and various accelerated lifetime tests. Preferably, experience with ESD HBM, ESD CDM, and Latch-up Test. In-depth knowledge of automotive reliability standards (AEC). Candidates that have experience with high voltage products with GaN, SiC, and other semiconductor power devices will be given preference. Hands on with Reliability hardware and system level troubleshooting, ATE data review, and Statistical analysis. Excellent communication skills, with a track record of producing detailed reports and presenting technical data to cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of IC components reliability failure modes, mechanisms, and failure analysis techniques is required.

Electrical Group Leader - Power and Substations, you will be leading our team designing unique power generation projects, including combined heat and power, renewables, grid storage, and large district energy thermal generation systems and utility substations. This position also works closely with our Transmission & Distribution Group. We are looking for an experienced and energetic leader who enjoys guiding the technical and financial performance of the group and working in a team environment .
SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage technical direction and workload for our team of electrical engineers and designers located in multiple locations across the US by reviewing project technical requirements, holding weekly meetings, evaluating workloads, and approving timecards.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals from clients and other company groups and offices. Take lead responsibility for developing scope of work, labor effort, and cost for client provided RFPs.
- Perform Quality Control and Quality Assurance tasks for large projects and assist project leads with unique situations and demands.
- Create, review, and seal as required electrical designs for different phases of projects including schematic design, design development, and construction documents in accordance with the Electrical Department’s procedures and standards and specific client standards, where applicable.
- Manage utilization of Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD-3D, and Substation Design Suite to model electrical system components and systems in accordance with the Department and client’s procedures and standards.
- Be knowledgeable of and manage utilization of electrical power programs such as ETAP, SKM, CYME, CDEGS, and AGI32 lighting software.
- Strong understanding of laying out switchyards through 500kV, electrical gear and spaces, sizing branch circuits, laying out devices, lighting layout, and circuitry, including lighting controls, in accordance with the Energy Codes.
- Knowledgeable of associated Codes and Standards, including the ANSI/IEEE, NESC, IBC, IECC, and the NEC.
- Project Management, including Construction Administration activities such as management of submittal reviews, RFI responses, and Shop Drawing reviews.
- Extensive understanding of electrical construction procedures and systems/materials used in constructing electrical systems and components.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to support team coordination activities.
- Conduct annual reviews for employees and implement performance improvement plans for employees performing below expectations.
- Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
- Mentorship to younger personnel.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems preferred. Professional Registration required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience designing and managing electrical systems in the Substation and Power Industry. Strong understanding of the ANSI/IEEE, NESC, NEC, IBC, and IECC.
- The preferred candidate will have excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem- solving, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
