We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our growing
engineering team in New York City. This is a foundational role for an engineer who wants
significant ownership, technical influence, and the opportunity to help shape the future of
our AI platform.
Position Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications
and intelligent workflow systems that automate complex business operations. You will
work closely with leadership, product teams, and customers to transform manual processes
into scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions.
• Build scalable backend services and distributed systems that support business-critical
workflows.
• Architect multi-step AI workflows utilizing tool integrations, structured outputs,
orchestration, and context management.
• Develop systems that leverage historical business data, user interactions, and operational
information.
• Create monitoring, evaluation, and feedback mechanisms to improve reliability and
performance.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Lead architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy.
• Review code and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and support technical growth across the team.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, TypeScript, Go, or C++.
• Experience deploying production-grade applications.
• Experience working with LLMs or AI-powered applications in production.
• Familiarity with agent architectures, workflow orchestration, and intelligent automation
systems.
• Strong cloud, API, database, and distributed systems knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
• Supply chain, logistics, fintech, or enterprise software experience.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• AI evaluation frameworks and observability experience.
