Locations: Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Oakland, Phoenix, Washington, D.C.

Salary. $345K – $440K.

Overview

A leading global law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Associate to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice. This is an opportunity to step into sophisticated, high-impact transactional work for premier institutional clients while leveraging the resources, platform, and collaboration of a top-tier firm.
This role is ideal for an experienced real estate attorney who thrives in complex transactions, values direct client interaction, and is looking to deepen their experience across multiple asset classes within a highly respected practice.

Key Responsibilities
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases (including ground and triple-net leases), build-to-suit leases, development agreements, joint venture documents, and related contracts
• Lead due diligence efforts, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and land use matters
• Coordinate and close acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions
• Manage transaction timelines and workstreams while delivering high-quality client outcomes
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate closely with partners and cross-functional teams

Position Requirements
Experience & Technical Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience
• Strong background in acquisitions and dispositions, build-to-suit leasing (industrial/data center assets), and complex commercial and ground leases
• Experience handling due diligence, zoning/entitlement matters, and complex closings
• Prior experience at a major law firm with a national platform required
• Experience mentoring junior attorneys is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $345,000 – $440,000 (based on experience and location)
• Title commensurate with experience
