Commissioning Engineer – Mechanical Philadelphia
- Testing and Verification: Witness and document pre-functional and functional testing and verification of equipment and systems in the field. Perform functional testing of building systems, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems.
- Commissioning Plan Support: Assist in the preparation of commissioning plans and specifications, including the review of design documents and submittals. - Provide operational support for the systems we own, address customer issues, and drive operational excellence to reduce operational load
- Solve problems and create solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions
- Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning
- Design/build/test robust, scalable services, and APIs using cloud technologies
- Collaborate within the team and across teams to drive solutions
- Write clear and concise documentation
- Leverage Azure components including but not limited to Azure web services, Service Fabric, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Queues, and Azure Functions
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of professional experience, in lieu of a degree
- 2 year of coding skills in one or more popular languages and platforms, such as any of the following: C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Python
- Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to abstract concepts and think in terms of OO design
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
